This refrigerator did not last years. Stopped cooling would only go down to 50 degrees. It is stilll under warranty that is a joke. I called in and set up a claim. I was told I would be contacted 24-48 hours called back 1 week later they couldnt find a repair technician. its been 4 weeks no repair techician and no call back. I call twice a week and get told you will be contacted in 24-48 hours. I will never buy an LG product again.

Got this fridge in Dec 2021 and apparently my parts arent even coved on the extended warranty. My defrost sensor is bad and evaporator fan motor needs replaced and isnt covered under warranty. I shouldnt have to pay $350 to fix it.

The LG refrigerator Model: LTCS20020B was delivered on Saturday May 18 2024 afternoon and has not yet been in my kitchen for a week. So far it has been working but since some reviewers mentioned that their refrigerators became problematic soon AFTER delivery I thought Id wait before writing a review in case I also have to contact Costco and LG on account of any problems that may crop up hopefully there wont be any problems.
I notice the door swings open very wide to 180 degrres. I wonder if theres a way the door opening can be adjusted to open only to a 90 degree angle ? The delivery men were in a great hurry to leave and I was not able to ask them this question as I observed this only after they had left within about `10 minutes of their
arrival altogether i.e. bringing the refrigerator into my dwelling and leaving very shortly thereafter. I earnestly hope the refrigerator will function efficiently and look forward to having a refrigerator that provides good and problem-free service. I could write a proper review a month after Ive had the refrigerator. At present Ive hardly had it for a week.

Horrible product. At 1 year the freezer fan burnt out. Called numerous repairmen and Noone wants to touch LG. They said its the worst refrigerator out there.
Customer service was no help. The unit only 1 month out of warranty and no help from them.
Eventually found a repair place charging 200.00 to come to the house. Plus parts.
Now its freezing the ice cream into a solid block.
Class action lawsuit going on because of all the compressors going bad.
The end result of this is Ill have to go and buy ANOTHER refrigerator. This thing is JUNK.

The product was purchased in September 2023 and not even 3 months the refrigerator stopped getting cold. When finally getting a service appointment it was diagnosed as the compressor which already had rust on it being brought new. Once compressor was replaced was told give it 24 hours still not working. LG will not replace until all parts are change and their tech support deems it replaceable. Meanwhile I have no refrigerator medication that needs refrigeration and have young children and elderly in household. They only reimburse minimum dollars without requesting loss of products. This product is not reliable and I will never purchase another LG product.

Well 2nd anniversary with this LG LTCS20020B refrigerator. We replaced the fan. Now it is leaking in the refrigerators interior. We will review for drain clog. I have never experienced issues with a refrigerator like this. The only issue was replacing a door gasket due to the age of the refrigerator.

After receiving our first LTCS20020B refrigerator it met all of our food storage needs until the fan and compressor malfunctioned. I was told because we filled the freezer a bit to full it overworked the compressor which ultimately forced us to file a claim for a new one. This was about the only black refrigerator I could find that fit the space in my kitchen. Pros: It keeps the food cold freezer keeps things frozen its quiet. Cons: Only light is in the front of the shelf so hard to see in back. One temperature control for both refrigerator and freezer. Sides and front are different finishes and the smooth front shows all fingerprints. Gasket around the doors is not black - its grey but I think its supposed to be silver to match the LG logo. Biggest issue: paint on condenser starting off-gassing after a week and my calls to LG customer service were the worst No one could just tell me that it wasnt refrigerant or another problem and it took 6+ days to have a technician let me know the problem was minor and would self-resolve. Technician told me it was a miracle he was actually provided the correct address as communication is so poor from LG. I have an LG washing machine television and now this refrigerator and based on interactions with customer service and presidential liaison its the last of my money that LG will get.
