We love the refrigerator. It has only quit once and there is no one locally that could service it. In fact right now I am going through the process of proving we actually own a LG refrigerator. We requested our service request be expedited since my husband is an insulin dependent diabetic and all his insulin is stored in this refrigerator. We filed our claim I believe Oct 20. As of today no service provider has been located.

I had an LG refrigerator French door style with a lower drawer icemaker for 18 years which was a great appliance. There were a few other minor issues that did not work replacement but when the icemaker finally stopped working I replaced it with a brand new refrigerator same style same basic features but now there is more room inside and I love it.

The new fridge is making loud noises not cooling and leaking. I reported early July. The first available appointment was August 6. Waited for over three weeks. Nobody came. Week after after many messages from LG reassuring somebody will contact in 48 hours NOTHING has been done.
Also be aware specs on the site are off. If you write to technical team - they recommend different cabinet clearance.

Ive spent countless hours on calls with customer service and received multiple emails that my repair appointment is being scheduled the customer care process is just horrible Ive been passed from one rep to another. The first 7 months it was wonderful after that the ice started tasting funny. Then an alcohol smell started in the refrigerator. I have have tried to get service here to repair it. Meanwhile everytime I open the fridge I smell the horrible smell

1. Very noisy. 2. Notice that LG website manual states different clearance requirements than needed per tach team. LG confirmed in writing this mistake but doesnt see to change. Had to redo my cabinet. Still the fridge is not working properly - 3. not cooling and leaking in addition to noise. 4. Customer service is really bad - all people are nice and doing their job well but the process is broken. What a shame Do not buy.

I liked the refrigerator when I bought it nice design. I bought this refrigerator about 9 months ago and the defrost fan died on it. This meant I had no refrigerator. Thankfully the freezer did work. It was ten days before I even heard from LG warranty service to assign someone to come out. It was a couple more days before they called. This repair problem was so common that he knew immediately what the problem was and that it would take at least a couple weeks to get the part because the part was on back order. In the end it took five weeks to get it repaired.

Purchased this product 10 months ago and the freezer fan broke. Very disappointed in the product and the LG brand it took them 5 days to find a repairman and another 4 days for him to come to repair it. I was told by LG customer service he would have the parts to repair it however this was not true because he then had to get the ok from LG to order the part after he diagnosed the problem. Have had no fridge in the middle of a Texas summer for 2 weeks now. LG needs to improve there customer service before I would ever consider buying another appliance from them.

My husband and I purchased this LG fridge about a month ago and we are so very happy and satisfied with it. From ordering it online to delivery and installation the entire process was easy and straightforward. The delivery and installation was on time for the date I chose when I ordered online . The installation was a dream and the delivery men who set up the fridge were so very knowledgeable and handled everything with expertise. They moved my old fridge to my laundry room and moved the new fridge in for me as well. They went over everything with me in regards to the water filter ice maker and if I had any questions or problems who to contact . All in all I would absolutely recommend this fridge as well as ordering it from LG and having it delivered and installed Thank you LG for such a great customer experience and amazing product

I bought this almost a year ago. When delivered it didnt work properly and they took it back. I had to wait to have another one delivered. The icemaker then started acting up several months later. I called the LG warranty number and was on the call for about an hour going over diagnostic issues. The icemaker worked for another couple of months and then quit making ice again. I called LG again and was on the phone for another hour or so. They informed me that they would refer me to a technician in my area and it would take 3-5 buisness days before they would contact me for service. It took two weeks for Sears Technician to text me an appointment day and time May 10 2024 between the hours of 8am and 5pm. I confirmed the date via text and they texted me several more times over the next two weeks to confirm. I did so each time. I took the day off from work to be there for Sears Technician. They never showed and I lost $340 take home from my job for the day. I called LG the same day to tell them that Sears Technician didnt show and that there wasnt anyway for me to contact them. They put me on hold and contacted Sears and told me the part they needed was due to arrive the following week and would be texting me a follow up appointment. I asked why Sears didnt contact me and explain this and cancel the original appointment? That way I could of went to work. LG had no answer. I told LG not to bother sending a Sears Technician to my house because I couldnt afford to take off work again on the hopes that they would show up next time. LG provided me no results and I will never buy another LG product. Their lack of customer service and support is horrific

My honest review on my refrigerator is that I absolutely hate it. The refrigerator is large it has a huge capacity and I do like that the doors can each hold 2 gallons of milk plus all of my condiments. The refrigerator is nicely built aesthetically. What I dislike about my fridge is that it makes a noise that somewhat sounds like a mini electrocution chair going on inside the motor. I bought this refrigerator and Ive had nothing but negative experiences associated with it mostly due to the store where I purchased the refrigerator. I regret buying an open item because I feel that a broken refrigerator was sent to me. I reported the issue that I had to the store and they sent a maintenance person home opened the back of the fridge and saw no sensors reporting any issues. Their repair man said nothing is wrong with the fridge. Meanwhile my refrigerator keeps having these clicking noises and Im extremely reserved about using my refrigerator to its full capacity due to the fear of my refrigerator breaking and my food going bad. I bought this refrigerator because my previous refrigerator broke and the food that was inside its spoiled. My previous refrigerator made a similar noise the day before it broke. I feel that I bought a broken refrigerator and Im at a loss.

We are very pleased with our choice of LG French Door Refrigerator Model LRFCS29D6S. Aesthetically with its clean lines it is a beautiful addition to our kitchen. The refrigerator and freezer sections both have very large capacities and function well. The only negative that we have experienced is the noise associated with the inflow of water for the icemaker. We have submitted a work order request with LG and hope that the problem will be resolved soon.

We love LG refrigerators and this is the second one we have purchased for our home for use. LG knows how to organize the refrigerator the right way and make it work for big items and little items in the door and on the shelves which can be adjusted. The bottom freezer has ample space for even your big pizza boxes. A great refrigerator that is simple and easy to use.

This fridge broke at 64 days Fridge wont cool anymore Temp set to 37 but feels tepid. I temped our food and it read between 42-46 degrees. Food should not be above 40 degrees. I called LG and they kept pushing out the service date from 2 days later to now 9 days later I had to call 5 times in 2 days to get a proper response and now they just say that 9 days is all they can do since they contract out repairs to 3rd party companies the 3rd party company has to accept the service call. I should not know this much about fridge repair process. We had an old LG for 12 years so we replaced it with the exact same model now it broke in 2 months. Never again will buy LG even if it was $100 due to their customer service Stay away

Excellent capacity in both the refrigerator and freezer sections. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is there were dents in the doors that neither Home Depot nor LG would warranty as the fridge remained in its box while work was done in the house.

My LG refrigerator has been working well. Plenty of room for all sorts of food in the upper and 3-section lower.
In a perfect world there would be a better solution to the problem I encountered:
Building a house the delivery from Home Depot came while the kitchen was still being worked on and sat in its box for about a month. Upon opening there were dents in all 3 doors. Since there were no apparent marks on the box this happened pre-packaging. Home Depot give you 3 days to report damage so now were stuck with over 1100 in new doors to fix the problem. Isnt there a better solution than Hurry up and make sure you open the carton and leave the appliance unprotected?

Frig looks good. fit well in space. Chose not to have outside door features on this one. Never used the external ice or waster function on old frig
like the bottom freezer. doesnt interfere with kitchen space. like top doors on frig. You dont have to reach down so far to get an item. Plus you can open both doors and organize things properly.

Overall a great fridge. The ice maker is pretty slow and tends to freeze up some of the cubes together in a block. A plastic clip also broke off the lower door hinge. In process of getting tech out to fix under warranty.

The fridge dimensions on the site are NOT correct. LG emailed us in writing saying that what is non the web site is wrong. We built our new custom kitchen based on wrong dimensions. After following up with LG multiple times - no credit or apologies have been issued. The wrong dimensions are still on the site. BE AWARE: the clearance needs to be larger for the fridge to work.

I bought this fridge and love how spacious it is and love the inside look. The only issue I have had so far the reason for the 4 stars is the warranty we purchased when we bought was supposed to cover us for all issues including minor things. Well our fridge lost its cooling after 2 months of owning it and naturally I called the warranty company and they had me on hold for 2 hours to be told that they didnt have a technician in the area for LG but that someone would contact me. Long story short no one ever did but thankfully my husband decided to try unplugging and plugging it back in and it started working with no issues since. So far.
