I like the fridge but I think that the temperature control levers for the 2 veggie drawers will break off at some point, just in a weird place with the drawers right under them. Otherwise, love the fridge.

Our refrigerator is less than 2 months old and we had service for this issue to be told that there's really no fix for our issue and we should have a new refrigerator!!! The issue is when we open the freezer door there's water laying in the gasket and enough water that is pours onto our floors. we are having a new kitchen done in October and our fear is the water will damage our new floor. Technicians who came to repair and phone call today to Whirlpool basically said nothing can be done but Whirlpool isn't offering to replace the unit WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK DON'T BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR. we turned off the humidity feature and that was even worse so it's back on now using more energy!!!

I have had this refrigerator for two weeks, hardly enough time to give it a proper review So far it seems to cool well, Vegetables and fruits are separated and keep fresh in the drawers designated for that specific use. The meat and cheese drawer is functional although very different from what I am used to. (not a big deal). I love the two doors on top with the freezer unit on the bottom; it is elegant looking and access to storage if relatively easy. Lighting is adequate. The exterior is easy to keep clean and, so far, looks very nice.
However, the negative is that quality of workmanship is not as I would expect from Whirlpool, especially for the price. The drawers are flimsy; they do not slide open or close easily and I can see them cracking within a year if not treated with extra special care; the shelves do not slide out as my last model did and are not strong. The storage shelves/containers in the doors are also fragile.
We will see how I rate this same refrigerator a year from now.

It™™s new. So far it cools well, but even with the humidity control on, there is noticeable moisture between fridge and freezer. I live in a very humid area of the US, but still™¦ If something is labeled ™Humidity Control,™ I was sorta hoping it would, you know, control humidity.
There are also a few inexplicable and frustrating design choices. First, the French doors are not symmetrical. I thought that was fine at first, but then I discovered that the fruit and vegetable drawers ARE the same size, which means that you cannot slide out the left-hand drawer without opening both doors. The asymmetry now feels like a designer was looking for ™clever™ instead of ™functional." Second, the meat-and-cheese drawer has two slots for its divider, one that™™s a third of the length, and the other at the two-thirds mark. Sure, you can decide which side is smaller, but the proportions are the same either way. Why not make one of the dividers at the halfway mark, allowing customers to choose whether they want division by thirds or by halves? Isn™™t that more helpful than giving consumers only a choice between left and right? Third, as others have noted, the water dispenser is too low and the pressure is weak. We had a nearly identical system in our previous Amana, with neither of those problems. And finally, there™™s no dairy provision on the doors. Storing butter with 8 inches above it makes little sense ™" can™™t we have a small flip-up dairy shelf like virtually every other model on the market?
This is not Whirlpool™™s first refrigerator. While it cools and freezes as a fridge should, I can™™t help but wonder how such obvious flaws got through the design stage, especially since there would have been no cost for more thoughtful design in most cases. Perhaps these items will be reconsidered in future models, with the potential buyer in mind.

I am enjoying my new refrigerator, but I have noticed that the meat drawer does not keep a lower temperature than the rest of the fridge part. Also the left door must be shut first for there to be a complete closing. It cleans up nicely and does not show fingerprints like my old one. It is easy to find items in the fridge part and freezer. Very nice overall.

Inside moisture along top seal of freezer door. Inside water dispenser drips and is not the easiest to get to. Inconvenient to have to use both hands. Do not recommend

I absolutely LOVE my Whirlpool refrigerator! The water is delicious in it . I love having the French doors and the freezer on the bottom. I am just one person and I have tons of room, but even if there were two people, this would be plenty of space since I do have a separate upright freezer. I am just so happy with this!

We like our new fridge, it works fine, looks great. The only thing we don't like is that it's smaller than our old one--but that's our own fault. So far, our new one is keeping everything nice and cool consistently and it runs quiet.

3+ months of use now, Big problem with temp ranges in frig. Some items freeze in frig.
Freezer has crystals sometimes. And ice cream is often soft.
Also Battling with having 2 doors, haven't found comfortable use.
The fingerprint resistance is good!
Having frig on top is much easier.

The first unit I received ran for about 2-3 weeks before it quit cooling. Service man confirmed that the compressor had gone out. This unit was very noisy from day one, lots of clunks and other noises when operating. A replacement unit was sent out and it has been operating ok but the clunks and other noises are still there. I guess Whirlpool refrigerators are now more noisy in operation than the many units I have owned in the past. On the plus side, the lighting is excellent inside. One more thing, I did not receive an ice scoop with the icebox in the freezer. I was told it came with one. Thanks for this opportunity to rate.

Our first purchase of this unit died after only 7 years. We bought another only because it fits the space in our kitchen best. This updated version is an improvement - drawers slide smoothly, doors open and close easier, and there is a temperature gauge for the freezer and refrigerator, which the prior model did not have. We hope this unit lasts longer.

I love my French door refrigerator. The crisper drawers are keeping my vegetables perfect. I have had to learn how to arrange my refrigerated items after using a side by side but I have that organized now. I also love the extra room I have in the bottom freezer.

I love the French doors because of the traffic pattern in our kitchen. Takes up less room when they are open. I don't like that if you open the left door w/o opening the right it make the right door pop open when you close it. Freezer is a bit smaller than my old refrigerator so I just purchased a small 3.5 Cu Ft Freezer for my basement.Lighting is great. Digital temp readings are great, Still figuring out the drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator. Doesn't slide in as smoothly as I would like. Water filter holder is in an odd place & takes up room. Wish I could remove it as our unit isn't hooked up to a water source.All in all I love the look in my kitchen.

Great size with pent of room on the doors and deep shelves. I like the compact-hidden water dispenser. The outside is easy to clean. The only thing I would change would be the freezer shelf would come out a bit as the drawer is opened. Very pleased with it new investment.

We wanted a fridge with ice maker inside and this does not take up too much room in the freeze. There is also a switch you can turn off the ice maker too. There are ample door spaces for jars and bottles. The only drawback is the veggie/fruit bins which are a little small but still plenty of room for small household.

I have had this refrigerator for a year (May 2025 bought) the freezer rails keep on freezing up on
both sides so it is very hard to open & close the freezer. We had a technician come out to fix the
problem, he replaced both rails on the freezer and It did work for a couple of months, and now
we're back to the same thing. I'm very disappointed with is product.

I needed a 33" wide refrigerator. This refrigerator is stylish and it offers ample capacity for its size.. The bottom drawer freezer offers ample space and it is easy to access.thw inside the door water dispenser works, but it seems a bit awkward to use. Overall, this refrigerator is a great overall value!

I bought this almost 3 weeks ago. 2 weeks in, the inside was all frosted over. Seems that the door didn't shut all the way. Wasn't sure, so called a repairman. By the time he came, it seemed to be functioning. However, I asked him to check the door alarm. He tested it and it didn't beep until 10 minutes had passed. Pretty useless warning.

This is a very nice refrigerator. My only gripe is the noise it makes. If Whirlpool could do something to make my refrigerator quieter I would give 5 stars. I cut a rubber matt and have that between the refrigerator and my tile floor; I taped every piece that could rattle, and I sound proofed the wall behind the refrigerator; and I still find it very annoying.

This fridge was delivered 2/8/26 to replace basically the same model from 2011. Mostly the same. Had issues with the 2011 model. The main board failed after 18 months, drain line clogging, replaced the ice maker several times. This new model went 5 weeks before the ice maker stopped filling with water, now no ice.

I bought this 2 months ago and the ice maker stopped warming. Fridge was making loud rumbling sounds just before it stopped working. I™™m waiting for their designated appliance repair company to come out again. I™™m thinking this fridge is a lemon and need to be replaced. This should not happen with a new fridge.

Overall I am pleased with this refrigerator. It was wonderful to find a french door refrigerator that fit in the smaller space we have. The left door doesn't close easily if the right door is already closed. It would be a great improvement if the drawers were on roller tracks. They don't slide easily if there is very much in them.
