Oven Racks Do Not Fit Firmly, POOR MANUFACTURING!

The rack does not fit the width of the oven and if I put a 16 pound turkey on it the it would collapse the rack such that it falls down! No excuse for POOR MANUFACTURING! I put the racks in at each level and the resulting weakness is the same! I will have to rig something up to widen the rack. I should not have to fix this! Other functions appear OK.

Oven does not maintain set temperature. Temperature always increases above what it is set at; have to constantly check the temperature and adjust the set temperature down to get to desired temperature.

Bought this for one of my rental units, they say it™€™s working just great and really like it! My suggestion though is that since it does have a broiler drawer that the broiler pan and a rack should be included in that area. Otherwise they have to take the rack out of the oven and put it in the broiler area & use the broiler pan that they had from their old stove.

The reason I can only give this range 3 stars: I purchased this gas range one week and have two complaints - 1) I've already had an error message (F1) which is a problem with the touchpad operating the oven and requires a service technician to repair; 2) As the oven heats we repeatedly hear loud noises that sound like metal warping/expanding which makes us think a panel or part wasn't properly secured. Also, anyone thinking of purchasing this range should be aware that below the oven is not a drawer but the broiler!

I really like this stove. The only issues that I have is you can't use an oven cleaner on it so I am really going to have to clean it very often. Also, after having an older cooking stove, I noticed the racks aren't as sturdy. I am sure newer stoves are this way now. I love how it looks, it cooks and bakes very well. Kind of disappointing

I loved the design of this range but it™€™s failing in the quality and details. The oven racks have only 10 ™€œrungs™€ instead of the 12 over the same width of my previous oven racks, so baking potatoes fall through the wide spaces. (I solved that by putting my old racks over the new ones) I™€™ve been very careful when removing the top grates for cleaning, but the enamel they sit on is already chipped through in two spots. Somehow something dripped in between the oven door™€™s plates of glass and removing the door to separate them for cleaning is beyond my ability. Finally, a pie overflowed onto the oven floor including into the hole where the pilot is lit, I think, and I can™€™t access it for cleaning from the broiler. In short, my lovely new stove is not looking great after light and careful use.

Functional with design issues

WFG505M0MW I needed a new range because the oven in my old one failed, but I bought this range when I did because I needed to replace an unrepairable fridge. So, there was an advantage in buying two appliances together. I like that the range meters gas flow in such a way that burners and the oven come on and heat up quickly. However, this range has two identical burners with the label, "SpeedHeat Burner", which are oversized and produce much more immediate and aggressive heat than either of the other two. And, for these two burners, the very lowest knob setting and flame spread and height are truly equivalent to the highest setting of the tiniest sized burner, which is smaller than the only medium/regular sized burner. This is a real problem for heat regulation, using the oversized burners. Additionally, the flame spread is so wide on these two burners that heat energy travels up the sides of smaller pots and pans and can burn your arm while you're stirring or working in the pot or pan. The biggest problem of all is these two oversized burners are at the front two positions, so using a smaller burner means having to place those pots or pans at the back of the range surface, which is very inconvenient. This range comes with an elongated center (5th) burner, perfect for a flat grill surface. But the range does not come with a grill at all. I had to search online and, finally, contact the company to get a statement about which grill was the correct fit and model number. This range could be excellent if a team with strong and versatile user experience consciousness had designed the top surface. The oven is great.

Good looking functioning range needs improvement

Pros: The oven looks nice. The overall cooking performance is good. The middle burner is neat, not necessary, just neat. Cons All cons are related to build quality The enamel coating on the inside of the oven is too thin and cracks. The bottom pan was bent and malformed from the factory and after reforming and fixing it more of the enamel cracked on the sides of the pan. The oven racks an not sturdy enough. The epoxy coating on the outside is also too thin and chips despite being handled carefully and having adequate shipping protection. All of the sheet metal on the back and bottom of the unit have a knife edge. The control board housing is made out of plastic instead of painted metal. This leads yellowing and staining from the oven exhaust and cannot be removed. The cooking grate on the top is made of low quality poorly finished iron, the kind of iron you see in low quality pans from China. The grate also damages the thin epoxy coating. All of these issues are minor by themselves but they add up to a company cutting corners.

Super functional, even heating, very easy to clean. I love the edge to edge feature. We had it converted to propane and the conversion kit is part of th range. I just needed a tank and hose. 2 drawbacks, but still a 5 for me. It only comes with 1 oven rack, so I had to buy another one. The back panel gets extremely hot so baking and stovetop at the same time can be a little ouchy.

Had for a few weeks and it works well. Oven controls, however, are confusing and unnecessarily over-engineered. A simple knob would have been MUCH better.

Do NOT like the two heavy top grates. I am 80 years old............I have propane gas. Burners run too hot on low. simmer burner runs a bit hot on low too, so I have to keep close watch on this one. Installer from Whirlpool set up my ranges for gas and NOT propane. Also did not level correctly. My range was a choice from my home warranty company. Due to chronic illness I was not able to take cash offer and go to a store and choose a new stove myself. Wife feels the same way.

Installed 08/25/20025. Functions well so far, nice appearance. I like the two piece grate system on top. I was able to easily adjust the flame height for the low setting to get closer to simmer range. But only the rear two smaller burners, and the center oval burner was able to to be lowered enough for a "low simmer" like my older propane stove (which was of 1989 vintage). But it is acceptable. The front two larger burners do run slightly warmer, maybe to a low slow boil rate which is not really a bad thing. I was just spoiled with older unit being able to get a minimum flame for low warming. I can get used to it. Electronic oven control works well. Setting matches a good old fashioned oven temperature gauge, and warms up in a decent amount of time. Oven interior is larger than the older unit, which is nice. I do feel however that with that increased interior size the racks should have been beefed up a bit more. As with the increased span across the width of the oven, they are a bit light and quite "springy" for lack of a better term. We will see how that goes. Lastly, find it odd, that you would have to order a broiler pan separately, as it is not included with the range, and that there is no tray in the broiler either, having to use one of the racks from the oven to slide into the broiler. Other than those points, so far, I do like this range. Let's see how long this newer version holds up.

I bought this stove on the 16th of August and am forced to have a service call because it™€™s broken and the store ( Lowe™€™s) refuses to take it back due to its 2 day return policy.

This is a very nice stove and seems to work very well. My only dislike are the iron racks on the stove top area. I have to remove them ( they are heavy!) to clean the white surface around the burners. That™€™s my only complaint.And no one seems to know how to clean those iron racks on top.
