Very happy with this cooktop! Near exact replacement of our previous outdated KitchenAid cooktop. BestBuy installers delivered, installed and tested the unit in less than a few hours. We are of age and just need a simple straightforward operating cooktop. This Whirlpool unit works great for us!

I replaced an old Whirlpool cook top for this model, I'm very disappointed, it takes so much time for the burners to heat up, very slow, it never looks clean, stains everywhere, very very hard to keep it clean.

Very nice refrigerator. Looks nice, works great. So far, no issues at all. Cooling is great. Keep up the good work. Could be a litter bigger but for its size, it's great.

The knobs indicator lines are difficult to see. Black on black. Surely you could make the lines different : perhaps a red or a white. I am 80 years old. My vision is fairly equal to that of my elderly friends. I would to caution them about this before they buy.

I love everything about this stove except for one thing. That thing is the setting indicators on the control knobs. The stove top is black and the indicators are black. They are camoflage. I use reading glasses and still can™™t read them. Why didn™™t you use white instead of black. Most of my appliances are whirlpool and I love all of them.

The product arrives as described. Install required I cut the wood countertop as last Whirlpool countertop was smaller. Electric was easy. With this unit only 2 hot's wires and a ground need to be attached. Concerns, neighbors cooktop, same one, scratches easily according to her. Be sure to purchase the recommended cleaner. That's a must to keep it looking like new. Cooking, even and constant heat. No pan wobble from the old coil top.

So far it is working well. It would be better if the second (mid-size) burner was full.
The knobs are look cheap and are difficult to push down prior to turning. Also there are no markings to enable precise setting

This is our second cooktop in less than a year. We noticed that there was a red light still glowing on the hot surface light even when it was hours later from last use. The safety dept said no light should still be on and not unplugged it. That was early December and we just received a replacement a couple of weeks ago. No one could figure it out and so it was replaced but this was is doing the same thing. Could someone please reply back to us and tell us if it is supposed to have tho light on or if this one isn™™t right either??
You cannot see the light unless room is dark or if you use your cell phone to take a picture. Again this is supposed to not be according to safety dept. apparently the engineers but we are not allowed to talk to them. The repair person we had last did and I think they told him these have issues but we don™™t know if we need to unplug it all the time or is it ok.

Like the cooktop, but shows finger prints easily. I have to buff with a dry towel after cleaning. Still getting used to the settings for the burners.

The cooktop looks and works great! It was very easy to install and made the kitchen look great with all the other Whirlpool appliances! We love the dual element on the large burner. It is so easy to keep clean and that is a great feature!

Not a very good stove top. Takes forever to heat up and does not cook well. Can™™t fry chicken or antthing that requires higher heat.

Just bought as a replacement for our last one which was 18 years old . Fits our counter better and like the features. Controls on one side instead of in the middle. So far works great and has similar burner styles. Now we have oven, cooktop and refrigerator all Whirlpool.

I bought it two weeks ago. Love it. I even boiled over on it and found it was easy to clean. It is a lot easier to clean than The old electric ranges. Wish that the special cleaner came with it. As I got the unit on Tuesday and only go to the store on Saturday s as my daughter needs to take me. Thus I had to clean it with what I had and the actual cleaner does an easier and nicer job.

When a pan is on the burner, it™™s very hard to see if it™™s on the burner completely or off by a few inches. Dials very hard to see where you are. Good thing. Easy to clean with windex. Scratches very easily.

This replaced our Orriginal cook top that shattered when a can of Pam slipped and fell. Sure wish these glass tops were shattered proof. New control knobs are impossible to read. White line was put on with invisible ink- very dangerous.

Cracked top.

I would have given it 5 stars but after using it for about few weeks the top cracked. It is still usable and works just fine but the crack is all the way across the top and very noticeable.
Have not put in claim yet but will after the holidays.
I will change to a 5 stars if things work out.
We had a whirlpool that lasted over 20 years that why we bought another whirlpool cook top.
That™™s why we bought whirlpool again.

My selection of this Whirlpool electric cooktop Was A wise choice even though I've never used electric before for cooking I find the range elements very easy to control the heat settings the only problem is that with the knobs being black is kind of hard to see the pointing areas for the different cook levels so maybe you could put in a little gold or silver insert to make the pointing easier the best feature is that there is still a warning light after the elements are turned off to let you know the cooktop is still hot

I replaced an old whirlpool glass cookbook as it had cracked. We purchased this one and although it works better, it scratches extremely easily. I don't know if it's defective but it shouldn't scratch by just putting down a pot . We've only had it less than 2 weeks and tempted to return.

i bought this whirlpool cooktop 1 week ago. it looks nice but am very disappointed in the fact it is so hard to clean. i used soap and water, as directed and it left it with a messy streaking all over the cooktop. i used several different mild cooktop cleaners--again it left it looking like 2 yr.old cleaned it. also i don't like the knobs close to the large burner as i cook a lot with evoo and now i have to clean all the burner knobs after cooking.over-all i cook a lot and don't like the visual top. burners work well. i will be searching for a more compatible cooktop for my self, and needs

The cooktop arrived in a factory-sealed carton with damage that could only have happened at the factory. The loose electric conduit was allowed to slam into the glass during shipping and visibly scratched the surface coating. That alone points to sloppy, cost-cutting packaging - a trivial plastic wrap would have prevented it.
More revealing is what the damage says about the product itself. If a stationary metal conduit can scratch the coating in transit, the long-term durability against everyday metal cookware is highly questionable. This is not an isolated shipping issue. It exposes a fragile surface finish paired with careless factory practices. For a glass cooktop at this price point, that combination is unacceptable.

I had a similar cooktop from a competing brand that cracked. I switched to the Whirlpool cooktop and I am disappointed in it's. It's difficult to get most of the burners to maintain a low/simmer hear. The largest burner (front right) works well on high heat but not well on low heat.
