Our old stackable Frigidaire had to be replaced yesterday in our apartment. I loved it, but the dryer was screeching beyond repair after they tried to grease it several times. It was apparently about 20 years old so I™™d say it had a good run. I miss it already. This new machine has been nothing but trouble in its first 24 hours. It™™s loud, apparently unbalanced no matter how you load it, and the dryer door is WARPED so it doesn™™t even close properly. I just did a medium load on cold. Somewhere along the way the machine changed it over to warm. I did NOT set it like that. Additionally, the spin cycle went on for about 45 minutes - just like it did last night when we tried it. I hate this thing! It™™s so frustrating to have had such a good machine that had to go due to age - just to have it be replaced with something that already works like garbage. The everlasting spin cycle sounds like a small diesel engine vibrating half of the apartment!!! So unhappy we are stuck with this thing, and I have no idea how a warped door could get past QC.

I am enjoying my new washer/dryer combo. It™™s very compact and runs well. It holds larger loads than I was expecting, so that™™s a plus. One caveat: the washer spin cycle doesn™™t sense very small loads well, so these are likely to come out dripping. But, that™™s what the dryer™™s for!

Previous to the purchase of my laundry center, I was the happy owner of a Frigidaire laundry center built in May of 2003, model FGZ831AS1. I never had a bit of trouble in the 22 years the machine was in our family. When it finally had a problem, I decided to get a new one since it had many years on it. I was very excited to find that Frigidaire still had a similar model, just updated. Installation was a breeze, and it had the same footprint, so it fit perfectly where the old one had been located. There were a few more options with both the washer and dryer, which was a nice surprise as well. I am very happy with my choice and hopefully it will be another 22 years before I have to replace this one. Thank you, Frigidaire!

that frigidaire is a criminal enterprise. The washer in my unit needs a new transmission after LESS THAN THREE years. Do NOT purchase. I tried to schedule a repair through Frigidaire and I am convinced it is a scam and that they do not actually offer repair services. I tried to book the $314 service that covers any issue, and they told me there was a problem with two of my credit cards so they could not schedule the service. I would see the charges on my account in real time, and confirmed with my bank that there was no issue on my end. The charges were refunded but I had to look elsewhere for repair.

I have owned this laundry center less than 3 years, so far had to replace the gas valve/ignitor in the dryer and now the transmission in the washer is screeching and needs replacement. I had this laundry center which I left in my old house for more than 20 years and not one problem! I can™™t tell you how disappointed I am in this product, seems the quality has just gone down in major appliances (from reviews I™™ve been reading). So yes Iwill enter the sweepstakes because now I need a new washer and dryer.

I really wish I kept and repaired my old kenmore center because it was so much quieter than this Frigidaire ™Quiet Pack™™ model, and had a lot more settings to choose from with Kenmore™™s electromechanical dials. The dryer has become noticeably louder over the 2.5 months we have had it. The washer is loud and distracting because it has no consistency in the motion cycle. It has no sensors to gauge dryness. Normal Wash and dry cycles take hours to complete. You cannot start these inside of a cycle at all like much older-tech units could. Why would they get rid of the retractable clothes hanger!?Regrettable purchase indeed

I went from a front load washer to a top load and absolutely love it.The washer has a larger capacity than my front load allowing for Ease of washing my bulky bedding. It even has a bulky wash and dryCycle. There is also a soak cycle which isn't on a front load. It fits perfectly in the closet space. To top it all off the service Provided during installation was impeccable. Registration of my new FrigedareWasher and dryer was super easy. Highly recommend Frigidaire

I would not recommend if you are buying this for just one person. You have to have a full load so it would spin and complete the washing cycle. Otherwise you have to use the quick wash and sometimes that doesn't work either.When I first got it I contacted Frigidaire and a woman told me to get a serviceman from where I bought it. He came out and said he couldn't find anything wrong but to just only wash when you have a full load.I contacted the woman again and she was very snarky and said the same thing. So the moral of the story is don't buy if your only one person with light loads.

Piece of junk, do not buy. Only had it for a year and the agitator broke. How convenient, we are just past the manufacturer's warranty. Calling in to get the new agitator and they don't have it in stock. No wonder, so many people are probably dealing with the same issue. This is so poorly designed, it's ridiculous. It says it has a large capacity, but water level is barely at middle with a large load. Washing on hot is more like lukewarm. Such a waste of $1500 and time and nerves lost on this piece of crap. I had a stackable unit from Frigidaire for 20 years, no issues. It broke down last year, so I wanted to go with the same because of its reliability. I guess their quality has changed and they don't care about it anymore.

Since it comes equipped with a sound package, I'm disappointed in how noisy the washer is during the spin cycle. It's not as noisy as my old Affinity with its bad bearings, but I had higher expectations for a brand-new machine with a Quiet Pack feature.

From delivery date, & now 4 days later waiting for installation team & technician. We get no cold water, you can hear the water fill in a stop & go manner, it takes over an hour for any cycle, No cycle has any power- they all sound like a delicate cycle. there is no power in the agitator, that's why it's quiet. I need clean clothes not quiet. doesn't fill up to maximum level and we only get hot water. I always used cold on my 3 previous machines in my life, this seems to be a LEMON. I see only apologies to the result. Some action/reimbursement is what we need. I'm a senior not feeling well & don't need this aggravation.

Everything was fine till yesterday. The light came on while the dryer was operating and it also beeped, saying lint filter needs to be cleaned. there wasn't much in there, but I cleaned the lint filter and restarted the dryer. But, it continued the same warning about 5X, i finally gave up and took the clothes out to air dry.

My old Frigidaire stacked washer dryer from 2001was replaced with newest model. My old one showed the time remaining to the end of both wash and dry cycles. New one does not. New one does not even have a power on/off button. One has to know to move the dial to ™cycles™ . What was the design group thinking? Also, new machine is louder than the old one.
