So far the refrigerator works great, but its been two days and the ice bucket is only about one third full, it looks like it will take a week to fill it up or longer and I use a lot of ice for tea and soda. Thats why the 4 stars.

We bought this refrigerator (model FFTR1835VS) in September 2024 because it was marketed as a no-frills, durable unit. We didn™™t need fancy features™"just something reliable. It broke after six months.Not only did both the fridge and freezer stop cooling entirely, but Frigidaire™™s customer service has been shockingly slow. They™™re closed on weekends (seriously?) and it takes two full days just to process a claim, after which you™™re told it™™ll be another 1™2 weeks before a technician can come out. Meanwhile, we™™ve lost a fridge full of food and have no idea how long it™™ll take to actually fix or replace the unit.Design-wise, it™™s also just not great. As a tall person, I found the layout very uncomfortable to use, and the plastic bins and shelves discolored quickly. The build quality feels cheap despite the stainless look.We bought this fridge because it was reviewed as ™durable,™ but that™™s clearly not the case. If you want peace of mind or timely customer support, look elsewhere

I only have the unit since Friday 04/04.2025. It is still mot in use, as we let let run for 24 hours before putting it, but there are several comments we would like to let you know which it makes the unit uncomplete. The unit comes without a full use and care manual, not very smart. The freezer has only one shelf, and the refrigerator only two. That evokes the anger of every housewife. You should correct that immediately. You want to be loved by the housewife and future customers !! not hated or disappointing.

My 20+ year old fridge died unexpectedly and living in a rural area, there was not a lot of choices. Space and organize wise, it is something of a step up from the old one and certainly more energy efficient. I would have preferred an Energy Star rated model, but I only had a choice between this one and a much more expensive model that would fit into the kitchen cabinet notch. A small issue is the thickness (or lack) of the glass shelves. Put a full gallon of milk on one and watch it bend a little.Overall, I like the chrome finish and I am happy with it, so 4 stars.

The compressor stopped running after 8 months. It is under manufacturer warranty. I have been on the phone with Frigidare on and off for 3 hours trying to get it repaired. At first they gave me a number. I called and they said they only repair what they sell. Called back. another 30 minutes of phone with Frigidaire. They scheduled a repair with Sears Home Services which they cancelled for no reason on the day they were supposed to be here. Back on the phone with Frigidaire again. Still on hold. At this rate I have no confidence it will ever be repaired. First the unit completely dies after 8 months and to get it repaired I've been on the phone for hours. It has been agonizing. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM FRIGIDARE!!!!!!!

Overall disappointed. It's a spacious refrigerator. Get fingerprintless model if you can afford it. It's a must. Otherwise, pretty much shows every little touch. The protection plastic is overboard! The fridge appears to be built around the BLUE plastic and impossible to remove it all, even with a tweezer. The insulating foam oozed out the bottom of the door and I had to scrape away from front and under the door. Plastic in handle full of scratches. Fridgedaire wouldn't warranty because it's plastic. I had to fumble with shelf to allow movement of the drawer that slides to either side. I'm sad about what I thought would be a beautiful addition to my kitchen. :'(

We bought the refrigerator at the end of April, and it stopped working on February 26th. Despite two visits from technicians, the issue has not been resolved. On the third visit, the compressor was supposed to be replaced, but the technician did not show up, causing me to miss work. When we inquired about the missed appointment, we were told that we had canceled it, which was not the case. We have been without a working refrigerator for nearly a month now, which has been very inconvenient. The repair service has been disappointing.

Fits perfectly in my kitchen. The fan in the freezer rattles a bit so expect some noise at times, especially when first installed. Wish the stainless steel was fingerprint proof. But keeps cold food cold, which is a refrigerator™™s ultimate purpose. And the price was right.

Compact good fridge. Freezer door stopped closing and had to adjust the screws - right off the bat not ideal. Also one shelf had a fastener broken off which was also not ideal. But eventually I got one coming my way. Love the simplicity. Solid choice.

We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator (model fftr1835vs) through Home Depot in the spring of 2024. In less than a year it failed at least four times when the refrigerator or freezer compartments would not cool. Frigidaire sent service techs, and each service call would take at least a week to complete. The earliest available appointment was always about a week away. Then, the tech would show up and say they did not have the correct parts and/or did not have enough time to fix it, so we'd wait another week or so for them to come back. One time, Frigidaire did not give the tech correct contact information, so the tech could not complete the call. We asked Frigidaire to replace the unit because it was obviously a lemon, and their response was consistently that they would not replace it as long as the techs said it could be repaired, which means they are relying on the self-interested techs to make the call on replacement. Meanwhile, we sat for weeks on end with a refrigerator that did not work. After 10 months of fighting with Frigidaire and their final failed attempt at repair, we gave up and bought a GE from Lowes.

The refrigerator came into my home with a minor scratch, so did it come from the factory that way or was it caused by the delivery team. However, the even more serious problem is the gasket seal at the front of the bottom of the freezer is defective and is causing me to have to pay higher energy bill due to this major defect. This refrigerator, which was the third one because of manufacturing defects with the first one and scratches by the delivery team on both the first and second one, was delivered on February 14, 2025. It is obvious that the poor quality of your products certainly are designed to frustrate people and waste my time and my life trying to have a truly usable appliance. Remember life is too short to be unhappy and you people are doing a good job of shortening mine. As you can tell, I am not a happy camper and would not recommend your products in the future. Your time of producing high quality refrigerators in the 1950s to 1970s has totally disappeared.
